PalTalk is an instant messaging tool that you can use to communicate with your friends, regardless of the distance that separates you. Paltalk allows you to video chat, to send instant messages and join chat rooms with anyone in the world for free. You can browse chat rooms, search one of the thousands of available chat rooms or create your own chat room. Paltalk is compatible with services like Yahoo, Facebook, ICQ, MSN, etc. You can simultaneously video chat with up to 10 different partners enjoying the highest video and audio quality for free. You can even get a customizable URL so your friends and family can directly reach you without having to download the software program.You can use Paltalk to place calls to mobile phones for a symbolic fee. Lately, Paltalk released Paltube which allows to view YouTube video clips directly on Paltalk and to chat about these video clips. PalTalk is not very different from other similar products, but it generally uses less system memory, and it does not seem to crash or jam so often.
